Coach Shell Manufacturing Facility For Indian Railways At Chennai, India
Integral Coach Factory, Chennai is a premier production unit of the Indian Railways manufacturing all steel and all welded Integral railway passenger coaches. For expandingtheir capacity by manufacturing stainless LHB (Linke Hofmann Busch) coaches, Indian Railways had awarded a new project to us.
This project of modernization & expansion was to create a new facility for manufacturing technologically upgraded LHB coaches. This facility is capable of manufacturing 25 LHB coach shells in a month. The project was completed within a time frame of 2.5 years and had already been handed over to Indian Railways in June 2015.

Wheel Repair Shop For Smh Rail, Malaysia
Malaysian Railways (KTMB) had decided for subcontracting railway wheel set re-profiling, re-discing and re-axling work to outside agencies. SMH Rail, Malaysia wanted to set up this wheel shop and HYT took up the challenge of setting up the wheel shop for repairing 15000 wheelsets per annum and provide necessary technical support to SMH Rail in the year 2006.
In addition to supply of machines, HYT has given the technical support from site selection to installation of all the required workshop facilities and provided the necessary technical specification for other ancillary workshop facilities right from provision of electrical supply to management of inspection equipment. HYT has provided necessary technical support for recruiting competent manpower for operation and maintenance of the machines. HYT also coordinated with Malaysian Railways, the end customer to ensure the workshop was set as per KTMB Guidelines. Since 2006, the wheel shop is working satisfactorily and regularly given the desired output.
Supply of CNC Underfloor Wheel Lathe (UFWL) Along With Construction Of Shed
Indian Railways has decided to procure CNC Underfloor wheel lathe machine along with construction of shed for housing the CNC Underfloor Wheel Lathe (UFWL) Machine.
CNC Underfloor wheel lathe machine is used to re-profile wheel sets of diesel and electric locomotive, coaches, wagons, electric and diesel multiple units and Metro coaches in situ without removing the wheel sets, bogie break gear, axle box covers or any other components of these railway vehicles.
