Founded in 1977, HYT Engineering Company Pvt. Ltd. has grown from a manufacturer of drilling machines and lathes into a technology-driven engineering powerhouse – with over 1,100 machines delivered to international standards.
We are proud to say that 99% of the rolling stock in Indian Railways are turned on our Wheel Lathes. Till date we have supplied more than 500 Wheel Lathes and 450 other SPMs. Our machines are working in Railways since last 45 years and giving the more than satisfactory services to the customers.
HYT Engineering Company Pvt Ltd has an Ultra-Modern Facility of 16000 square metres for design, manufacturing and testing of machines. A team of 500 High skilled, semi-skilled manpower and 450 staff members including qualified engineers is devoted to fulfil all customer requirements. We are having a Service set up in PAN India with a dedicated team of 150 Service Engineers. HYT has developed and established agencies for maintaining our machines on the global platform as well.
We at HYT are constantly upgrading technology to provide economical solutions for challenging demands. We believe in providing turnkey solutions from design, manufacturing to after sales maintenance. Our unique approach towards planning and prompt execution has made us a dominant player in the infrastructure industry also. A Strategic Acquisition
In September 2019, HYT Engineering acquired SAFOP. The acquisition was a pivotal move – pairing India’s manufacturing scale with Italy’s precision engineering heritage, and significantly expanding HYT’s global technology capabilities and product portfolio.

Mr. Bhojraj Hemraj Teli is the Chairman & Managing Director of the company and President of SAFOP S.p.A., Italy. He also serves as Managing Director of HYT Innovative Projects Pvt. Ltd., with over 50+ years of experience serving the Railways industry. A visionary entrepreneur, innovator, and leader who has championed a culture of continuous improvement and engineering excellence.
Rajashri Bhojraj Teli
MD
Ms. Rajashri Bhojraj Teli is the Managing Director of the company and Vice President of SAFOP S.p.A., Italy. She also serves as Vice President of HYT Innovative Projects Pvt. Ltd. and has played a key role in business growth and global expansion through her strategic leadership. Over the last 15 years, she has been committed to building future-ready organizations that combine technology, talent, and purpose.
Shailaja Bhojraj Teli
Director
Mrs. Shailaja Bhojraj Teli is the director at HYT Engineering company Pvt. Ltd. She is also one of the Directors in HYT Innovative Projects Private Limited.
